Microdermabrasion vs. Dermaplaning

The main benefit of adding Microdermabrasion or Dermaplaning to a facical treatment is deeper exfoliation.  Exfoliation is the KEY to anti-aging!  Whether it's manual or chemical exfoliation, in order to promote a youthful, radiant appearance we have to continuously remove old, dead skin while nourshing the new healthier skin.  When the skin is exfoliated, your products aren't fighting through dead skin build up, therefore your products are able to work at their hightest potential.

Manual exfoliation prior to a chemical peel allows the peel to penetrate deeper, maximizing the effectiveness of the peel.  Microdermabrasion uses a diamond tipped wand to manually exfoliate the outermost layer of skin while dermaplaning uses a scalpel to painlessly provide a deep exfoliation and the added benefit of removing vellus (peach fuzz) for a softer and smoother complexion.
